Την εποχή που σαν σφουγγάρι σκούπιζα και απορροφούσα ότι βρισκόταν στο δρόμο μου οι συλλογές έπαιξαν σημαντικότατο ρόλο στην ανακάλυψη της μουσικής που άκουγα και ακούω. Τα περισσότερα από τα γκρουπ που θα δείτε παρακάτω τα γνώρισα μέσα απ'αυτές τις συλλογές. Ξεχωρίζω μερικές από τις δεκάδες.

Θεσσαλονίκη μου μεγάλη γκρουπομάνα (Lazy Dog, 94)
Με Τρύπες, Ήταν Είναι Και Θα Είναι, Μωρά στη Φωτιά, Ξύλινα Σπαθιά, Γκούλαγκ, Εκτός Ελέγχου, Noise Promotion Company, Γκρόβερ, Μάσκες, Ντίνο Σαδίκη, Drums & Stories, Mushrooms. Blues Wire, Ναυτία, Ziggy Was, Xaxakes, Φάμελλο & Ποδηλάτες, Πίσσα και Πούπουλα.
Μου είχε φανεί καλή ιδέα να βγει μια συλλογή (όχι φυσικά μ'αυτό τον τίτλο) που να καταγράφει το δυναμικό της πόλης τη συγκεκριμένη στιγμή και άρχισα να ζητιανεύω ακυκλοφόρητα τραγούδια. Όταν έφτασα να ακούω δικαιολογίες του στυλ "εμάς οι δίσκοι μας είναι concept, δε γράφουμε μεμονωμένα τραγούδια" εγκατέλειψα την προσπάθεια.
